NASTEC consortium project is based on the usage of advanced security technology. Within the project, a number of services have been set up.

National Certificate Authority

Three national Certification Authorities, part of the EuroPKI infrastructure, have been set up.

Advanced Security Services

Project technology providers deliver various aplications and services based on the PKI infrastructure.

• Open source and commercial products by POLITO

Advanced services have been installed in Romania, Poland and Slovenia. Reference sites shows how to use PKI infrastructure in various, mainly educational sectors.

• Secure antivirus software distribution for the University local administrators.
• Secure student portal for didactic information.
• Secure e-mail service.
