The project has been set up to promote the latest development in security technology through Newly Associated States (NAS) of European Union. For this purpose four expertise organisations have set up a framework to transfer and apply knowledge within academic society in Poland and Romania. NASTEC project will help understanding data protection and privacy in e-communication, especially in the emerging applications such as e-work and e-business. Distribution of European technology will contribute to the deployment of the common European electronic market by use of the same standards and practices regarding authenication and secured transactions. NASTEC actions are also oriented towards diminishing the gap between e-business applications and the use of complex tools for trust and confidence based on trusted third party technology.
